Community Nursing Officer

Key Responsibilities

•  Plan and coordinate community health work programs
•  Conducts disease surveillance for the major childhood diseases i.e. Measles, Polio etc
•  Assesses the quality of care being given by conducting patient interviews, reviewing patients’ records, questionnaires and suggestion boxes
•  Monitors disease surveillance for early case detection and actioning
•  Conduct health promotion activities (National Health events, Cancer days, Diabetic days etc.) through liaison with other interested departments and organization
•  Attends and participates in multi-sectorial meetings and activities i.e. child welfare forum, home based care forum, civil protection
•  Investigates suspected cases timely
•  Performs any other duty that may be assigned from time to time
